We started this summer off with one of our most detailed and exciting events to date! The bride and groom, Matt and Kierra, were a joy to work with. Working alongside Design Wedding Studio, it was such a pleasure to make this elegant vision come to life.

The ceremony took place in Kierra’s parents’ backyard. With a breathtaking view, this was a dream setting for Matt and Kierra to say their vows. After they had said “I do” and walked back down the aisle, they celebrated with champagne!  To complete the beautiful, back-yard celebration, we set up our infused water station and a popcorn bar!

The reception took place at one of our favourite venues, Sky Hangar at the Pitt Meadows Airport. As the reception doors opened, guests were greeted with punch and passed canapes, followed by a full buffet.

After dinner, guests were personally served a stunning plated trio of dessert, consisting of fresh berry pavlova & lavender chantilly, almond cannoli & burnt orange ricotta cream and gianduja mousse & mango citrus salad.

As the wedding continued, so did the food! Because of their love for cookies (to which we can relate), the bride and groom requested a cookie bar of freshly baked cookies set up for the guests to indulge in. Platters of warm cookies were brought out throughout the evening consisting of some of the bride and groom’s favourite flavors for guests to enjoy as they danced the night away. Later in to the night, flatbread was served as they continued to party!

What a fun and beautiful evening. We loved to be a part of it!

Congratulations Matt and Kierra!

We just finished having Mark cater our daughter and son-in-law’s Wedding. Mark and his wife, Carlyanne, are absolutely amazing to work with!! Mark and Carlyanne had no problem coordinating and working with our decor team, so that nothing was overlooked or doubled up on. They were very careful with their responsibilities, to match the mood and feeling of the evening that we were planning, along side the decorating team.

They coordinated everything that we had planned, at the Ceremony venue (which was in our backyard) and the Reception venue. With staff in two different locations, taking care of everything from the food, the beverages, the set up and clean up, the coordination was meticulous and flawless.

They were great at rolling with last minute changes (not even an eyebrow lifted), as we added a popcorn station and beverage buckets, just days before the Ceremony…they went and sourced out buckets, scoops, containers, linens, and ice… and they organized the set up of that last minute idea perfectly, Mark’s staff cleaned up, bagged up, and swept up everything, before they left to join the rest of the staff at the Reception venue…there was nothing left for me to take care of.

The food at the Reception was outstanding… the passed canapes, the food on the buffet, the plated desserts, the cookie bar, the flatbreads…the food was fantastic!! So many of our guests were commenting thoughout the evening on how amazing the food was!! The service was exceptional, and very professional, with the serving, pouring, and clearing… they did a great job, of doing their job, but not being intrusive. All through the day and evening activities, they were very attentive to everything…if I even looked in their direction, someone was coming to see what was needed.

Mark and Carlyanne are truly a lovely couple, they know exactly what they are doing, they made us feel very at ease with such a big day to coordinate, and they make a really awesome team!! I highly recommend them, and would use them again in a heartbeat!!
